KLR Pad Mounting Transformers are the product of a deliberate decision to build to international standards from day one — not to adapt a domestic design for export. Manufactured at our IDA Pashamylaram facility to ANSI/IEEE requirements, they are qualified for utility procurement processes in North America and Africa, and are already in active supply to projects in the USA, Canada, and Africa.
The pad-mounted format — completely enclosed, tamper-proof, ground-mounted — is the standard for underground distribution networks in North American utility systems and is increasingly specified for urban and commercial development projects internationally. KLR manufactures both loop-feed and radial configurations, with integrated switching and protection, to customer specification.
